• Grin's UTXO set shrank by 15% over the past week as outputs were consolidated and old data was thrown into the dustbin. All automatically, thanks to Mimblewimble. No hard drive was hurt in the process.

• TMGOX made the first physical sale of goods paid for in Grin, using Knockturn Allee payment processing.

• GrinMint published data on Grin Mining Pool Profitability.

• Smith+Crown published a report on Grin. Decent reporting on the facts, the subjective commentary disputes the $100m mining number and questions the soundness of Grin’s development approach. General focus seems to be on whether price will appreciate... 💤

• @i1skn gave a Grin intro at Crypto Monday in Berlin. Video | Slides

• 1st Grin meetup in Moscow announced for May 16.

  Things that Harry-Potter-obsessed-shitcoin-VCs won’t tell you (or don’t realize): most (all?) @grinMW exchanges and pools use an “addressing” scheme similar to Bitcoin’s early (and justly abandoned) “Pay to IP” scheme, which is completely insecure and leaks private data

• Income and spending logs were updated by @lehnberg ahead of the Q1 transparency report.

• @kargakis provided a script for easy checking of unaccounted for income in the income log.

• Governance meeting discussed reporting, financial logging, supporting 3rd party projects and improving Grin evangelism.
