Working miner code for Cuckatoo Cycle, @trompās new Cuckoo variant, is now available.
@phooton announced final table for the OpenCL LEAN trimmer for Cuckatoo29, AMD cards showing some impressive performance. This triggered another epic PoW approach discussion a bit further down in the chat with @taek / David Vorick, scroll down to catch up.
Following that discussion, @tromp proposed a linear increase in the memory requirements for Cuckatoo over time. The fixed upgrade schedule would eliminate the need to identify single chip ASICs and hardfork away from them.
