With the release of Grin v5.0.0 as part of the January 2021 network upgrade, HTTP/S and file-based methods will be disabled in wallets, and it will no longer be possible to send or receive Grin this way.
Transactions should use the Slatepack standard from now on.

Ipollo offers 50 of their G1 Mini miners for sale exclusively to existing Grin community members with a 5% discount for payments in grin, and 20% donated to the Grin General fund. Details in the forum.
